Thank you for your interest in being designated a GearUp "Friendly Facility."  Earning a Friendly Facility designation means that you are working to support our mission - getting kids on bikes. As a friendly facility, you are agreeing to be added to a list of resources for kids in your area who want to become involved in BMX. If a family or individual requests help with things like choosing a bike, learning to ride, improving their skills, learning basic bike maintenance or finding a safe cycling venue, we would put that member's family in contact with you. It is then up to you to make arrangements with the family to meet their needs. Many facilities already have plans in place to support new riders and we want to recognize that while helping those who don't have that kind of structure to build a more friendly and welcoming atmosphere for all new riders.
