Harrison's Law

One of the most important ways that we can make cycling accessible for all is to advocate for legislative support. Harrison's law is our first effort and is designed to make cycling and other youth sports safer for all by forcing any volunteer who interacts with children to undergo a background check. While this is done voluntarily in many locations, it is only mandated in Alabama, California, Florida, Massachusetts, Mississippi, New Hampshire, Oklahoma, Oregon and Pennsylvania. If your state is not on this list, we encourage you to work with local lawmakers to change this.
